Data we collect
Emargix collects the data needed to run the service: account identifiers (email), events created, invited participants and their timestamped electronic signatures. Compliance options, when an event organiser turns them on, may include a photo, an identity document or the participant's location at the time of signing.
When an organiser logs in, the IP address and browser type are recorded with the session. Together with the email address and the organisation's name and logo, they are also used to detect multiple accounts opened to get around the Free plan limits. This check is done by the Emargix team, which alone decides what follows; no decision is made automatically on this data alone.
Hosting and security
Data is hosted on a managed PostgreSQL database (Supabase), with strict separation between organisations: an account's events, participants and signatures are only accessible to its owner and to explicitly invited team members. Signing links rely on individual, unguessable tokens.
Retention
Events and registers remain available as long as the account is active: no automatic purge deletes past sessions. An exported PDF (attendance sheet, certificate, evidence pack) belongs to the user and no longer depends on Emargix once downloaded. Deletion of an event or of all of an account's data can be requested at any time.
Data sharing
Emargix does not sell or share its users' data with third parties for commercial purposes. The only processors involved are the technical providers the service needs: application hosting (Vercel), database (Supabase), payment processing (GeniusPay for CFA franc payments, Paddle for other countries), transactional email (Brevo) and error monitoring (Sentry).
Your rights
Every user can request access to, correction or deletion of their data, and of the data of the participants they invited, by writing to contact@emargix.com.
Cookies and analytics
Site traffic is measured by Vercel Web Analytics, and its speed by Vercel Speed Insights. These tools set no cookies and do not track visitors across sites: they produce aggregate statistics (page views, country, device type). The site sets no analytics or advertising cookies. The only cookies are those the service needs to work: the login session and a few display preferences.
This is a translation of the French privacy policy, which prevails in case of discrepancy.
